Maines North Lodge - Getting There

Getting there from the Information Centre

From Eyemouth tourist information centre, take the B6355 via Ayton to Chirnside. Maines North Lodge is on the left, just before the B6437 (half a mile before Chirnside village).

Getting There by Railway

The nearest railway station is Berwick Upon Tweed, which is served by the fast London to Edinburgh train. There is a taxi rank outside the station.

Getting there by Aeroplane

We are approximately one hour by road from both Edinburgh and Newcastle Airports. There are also fast rail links from both cities to Berwick Upon Tweed. Follow the A6105 from Berwick Upon Tweed to Chirnside, for approximately seven and a half miles and then turn right onto the B6355 to Eyemouth. Maines North Lodge is the second house on the right after you leave the village.

Getting There by Ferry

There is a ferry service connecting to the cities of Newcastle and Edinburgh. Continue by rail to Berwick Upon Tweed where a taxi service is available. If travelling by road, take the A1 to Berwick Upon Tweed, and pick up the A6105 to Chirnside. Turn right onto the B6355 to Eyemouth. Maines North Lodge is the second house on the right after you leave the village.
